Parisa Heydari was born in Tabriz and majored in mathematics at Tabriz University.
She started getting to know the pottery techniques from the honorable masters such as Ghabchi's brothers and Ms. Tathiri Moghadam in Tabriz in 1997.

Production

Procedure of production :

The soil used is a combination of Kaolin white soil extracted from the Zanuz mine in East Azerbaijan

The body of pottery is made on pottery wheel for circular objects and slip casting for other shapes

The steps of production :

Soil and slurry preparation, kneading, making on the pottery wheel, grinding, turning, designing

Body decoration, first cooking, and glazing

Second cooking and third cooking if needed

Decorating the body of pottery with the use of embossing techniques, carving, under-glazed painting, etc. and/ or by using various oxidized metals on the bodies.

The design and patterns of these works are mainly inspired by the original Iranian motifs the message of which is to revive the art of Iranian pottery and the introduction of this art in people's daily lives.
